Yamada is a boy looking for work to survive in the Edo era where food is scarce and people are forced to eat anything, even human flesh. Suddenly while saving a girl named Mugi, Yamada and other people find themselves caught up in a wave of zombies trying to kill them. Will they be able to survive this imminent danger?
