As punishment for falling in love with a human and saving her life, a god was cursed for eternity to live as a human in an unaging form while reincarnating over and over. To stay by his side, Kazusa, the human he fell in love with, requested that she be afflicted with a similar curse. Her wish was granted with the condition that she cannot let him know about her identity or curse.
